Chef James is an award winning Chef. He started his culinary career as a dish washer at Highlands Bar and Grill. He worked his way to the Sous Chef of Highlands and eventually the Sous Chef of Bottegas as well. 2 of the finest restaurants in Alabama. Under the leadership of his mentor Frank Stitt, Chef James has cooked for the James Beard Awards in NYC as well as the Inn at Little Washington in Alexandria, Virginia. He has cooked alongside the greats such as Wolf Gang Puck, Chris Hasting and Dean Fearing!
Chef James has been featured on fox 6, Nbc 13 and a regular on Abc 33/40. He was voted Hottest Young upcoming Chef and featured in Birmingham magazine and Birmingham Times! Chef James is one of the greats.
Chef James is not just your average Chef. He is also a loving and devoted husband to his wife Star Washington of 10 yrs. He is an amazing dad of the "Great Eight".......yes, Chef James has 8 children!
